About
Solar HUB is a smart solar powered infrastructure that incorporates led lightings and smart devices able to measure pollutant emissions. Solar HUB has a unique dome-shaped photovoltaic panel that maximizes solar energy collection regardless of the sun’s position. Solar energy is stored in LiFePO4 battery that powers environmental sensors, LED lighting system, IoT devices and electronic core. Solar HUB has been engineered to enable mass production and to permit easy maintenance and a fast deployment in cities. The embedded electronic and communication system delivers Environmental Data as a Service. Solar HUB can operate in stand-alone or hybrid mode. The standalone version uses only solar energy to power the sensors, communication module and LED modules. And, the hybrid version primarily works with solar power, but when required, it automatically connects to the power grid. Solar HUB allows users to integrate different environmental sensors to meet the needs of municipalities. From air pollution sensors such as NO2, SO2, O3, PM10, PM2.5, noise pollution sensors to Carbon Dioxide sensors or meteorological sensors such as Temperature, Pressure, Relative Humidity, Solar Radiation, UV Radiation and wind sensors. Each Solar HUB can be customized accordingly.
