About
BIOPURETHANE® foams are innovative bio-based polyurethane materials designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable and energy-efficient insulation solutions. Developed with up to 75% renewable content, these foams deliver outstanding thermal performance (λ ≈ 0.022 W/m·K), durability, and mechanical stability while reducing the carbon footprint compared to conventional PUR.
They are engineered for versatile applications, including spray foams for building envelopes, injection foams for cavities, and rigid foams for sandwich panels. By addressing safety and environmental concerns, BIOPURETHANE foams incorporate non-toxic formulations aligned with EU regulations and the Safe & Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework.
These materials are not only compatible with large-scale industrial production but also support circular economy strategies, offering repair, reuse, and recycling pathways. Targeting renovation markets, social housing projects, and high-performance buildings across Europe, BIOPURETHANE foams provide a strategic solution to accelerate the transition towards greener construction practices in line with the EU Green Deal and the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
