Zero-Downtime AMR & AGV Fleet Orchestration for Resilient Smart Factories

Autonomaline Systems Inc. (Creative Destruction Lab member) is seeking European industrial partners, plant operators, and research institutes to form a collaborative R&D consortium under SMART Eureka Call 10 (Advanced Manufacturing).

Project Goal: Co-develop and validate a zero-downtime, software-defined AMR and AGV fleet orchestration platform that guarantees continuous shop-floor operations, dynamic material handling, and offline physical AI resilience during total network disruptions.

Manufacturing Challenge Addressed: Unreliable factory wireless networks, cellular dead zones, and cloud latency cause autonomous mobile robots (AMRs/AGVs) to freeze on dynamic assembly lines. This leads to costly line stoppages ($100,000+/hour), material flow bottlenecks, reduced Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and spatial IP leakage from cloud dependencies.

What We Bring (As a Modular Software & Infrastructure Sub-Component):

• Swarm Logic Orchestration: Dynamic workload scheduling and sub-50ms peer-to-peer state vector synchronization across heterogeneous mobile fleets.

• Universal Asset Adapter Layer: Software abstraction enabling zero-hardware-redesign integration with ROS2, PX4, and industrial PLCs.

• Simulation-First Sim2Real Pipeline: NVIDIA Omniverse & Isaac Sim hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing environment to eliminate Sim2Real integration gaps before physical deployment.

• Enabling Private Edge Mesh (AutonoSwarm AEN-1): Deployable AI-native private mesh edge nodes (TRL 5–6) providing air-gapped localized computing and 100% data sovereignty.

• Proven Track Record: CDL member with a $250k CAD executed defense R&D contract (TRL 5–6).
