My organisation

ZINNAE was founded in 2010 as a non-profit association. Our purpose is to offer solutions to the water security challenges to contribute towards building a resilient and sustainable future based on the circular economy and smart society pillars. Our strategic objectives are: Be influential in the water sector. Consolidate and attract talent to the sector Develop and bring to the market innovative solutions Communicate The cornerstone of ZINNAE's innovative activity considers the triple transition, with three defined areas: digital transformation, green transition, and resilience, in a strategy fully aligned with the new approach to economic growth at the European, national, and regional level. ZINNAE thus becomes a key innovation agent for the development of research and innovative solutions in Aragon and, in particular, among its partners, having included for the period 2022-2025 the definition of 13 collaborative innovation projects.

About me

I have has a degree in Economics from the University of Zaragoza and a Master’s in Environmental Management from the Universities of Amsterdam, Leiden and Wageningen. I coordinated the project “Zaragoza, water-saving city”, between 1997 and 2006, contributing to making Zaragoza a reference in efficient water management. In 2008 I coordinated the Pavilion of citizen initiatives at Expo Zaragoza 2008 with the slogan “Water and Sustainability”. Since 2010 I am the manager of ZINNAE.
