Characteristics: Ruby color, bringing to mind Burgundy reds. Peppery aromas of red roses and honey with tones of forest fruit. Pleasant dryness, combining with rounded tannins. Distinct, smokey minerality and a long, savory finish.
Serving Suggestions: Serve at 12-14°C. Works a summer red, quite suitable for the hot weather of Thailand and Southeast Asia, with meats, oriental or western sweet and sour dishes, all kinds of Mediterranean cuisine including pizza, as well as meatier fish like tuna or swordfish. Very versatile, as it is a lighter red than most.
