Etyeki Kúria Winery

Etyeki Kúria Winery was founded in 1996 on the Old Hill of Etyek. The winery earned its reputation by innovating while respecting traditions. In the region, we were the first to plant Pinot Noir grapes for varietal wine production, which has since become significant for both the winery and the wine region. Our head winemaker, Sándor Mérész joined the team in 2009, shaping the unique style of wines, combining local know-how with the newest research. Our wines and sparkling wines boast numerous national and international awards. The backbone of our wide portfolio consists of Pinot Noir wines, the Mérész Sándor Project wines and sparkling wines. Those who taste along this line will be enriched with an authentic spirit of the Etyeki Kúria.

Kúria Sopron Winery

Kúria Sopron Winery commenced its operations in 2024 during the harvest. It belongs to the same ’Kúria Family’ brand as Etyeki Kúria. We are growing grapes in Sopron wine region since 2006. We have successfully introduced Blaufrankish and Merlot varieties to the market in their Sopron plots. Our head winemaker is Sándor Mérész, who has already left his mark on the Hungarian wine industry. In recognition of his professional work, since 2013, Sándor has been among the top 50 nominees for the “Winemaker of the Winemakers” professional award every year.
