University of Zilina , Faculty of Security Engineering

The Faculty of Security Engineering (FSE) is providing university education in bachelor, master and doctoral level in accredited study programs Security Management, Crisis Management, Rescue services.Research and development activities of the FSE are oriented especially on solution of technical, technological and managing tasks connected with creation and ensuring the inhabitants security especially under emergency and extreme situations caused by natural or human factors, namely the tasks of prevention and solution of incurred events. The research is oriented on risk management, sociological and social-psychological aspects ofcrisis situations, security management, modelling and designing security systems, fire protection, fire engineering, integrated rescue systems, critical infrastructure protection.
