About
Our crown jewel. Amistà Nizza Riserva DOCG is produced in extremely limited quantities from Barbera grapes grown on vines over 80 years old, rooted in the Bricco di Nizza cru — the finest expression of this appellation. Every bottle is numbered.
The wine is aged for 12 months in tonneaux and barrique, then refined in bottle for 12 months beyond what the denomination requires — a deliberate choice to allow complexity and depth to fully emerge before release.
Rich ruby red in colour with violet reflections. On the nose, elegant and austere: prune, black cherry, and ripe blackberry, followed by notes of black pepper, allspice, dried orange peel, and a lingering touch of vanilla. On the palate, full-bodied and savory, with luscious flavours of ripe strawberry and pomegranate framed by fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity, and a juicy, spiced finish. A wine built to age gracefully.
