University of the Aegean

The Department of Financial and Management Engineering (FME) is part of the  School of Engineering of the University of the Aegean is located in the Greek island of Chios, in the Northern Aegean Sea, and was established in 2000. FME offers a five year  engineering program leading to the Diploma of Financial and Management Engineering. The latter is recognized as an ‘Integrated Master's’ degree according to Greek regulation.

The DFME was established in response to the need of having engineers trained in an interdisciplinary way to acquire a solid background not only in science, engineering and informatics but also in economics and business. This background allows graduates to tackle the complex engineering problems of  the globalized economy and   to pursue research in the fields of:

• Financial Engineering

• Management Engineering
