PALcito is a digital marketplace connecting consumers with verified smartphone repair shops, offering repair requests and digital warranties. Aligned with EU Right-to-Repair rules, we seek partners for a three-region RIVCircular pilot.
PALcito is a Vienna-based digital marketplace connecting consumers with verified local smartphone repair shops. Users find nearby shops, compare prices, ratings and availability, book a repair, and receive a digital warranty certificate after every completed job — making repair faster, more transparent and more trusted than replacement. The platform is fully developed (iOS, Android, Web; cloud-native on AWS) and launching in Vienna with an active partner-shop network. Every transaction generates measurable circular-economy data: devices kept in use, premature replacements avoided, warranties digitally documented. The timing is regulatory: EU Directive 2024/1799 (Right to Repair) strengthens the legal framework for repair, and the European Commission's repair platform launches in 2027. PALcito is operating in this market today. For RIVCircular Topic 5 (Digital solutions for circular economy) we are building a three-region consortium and seek: An AI/data partner (e.g. Hauts-de-France) for predictive repairability analytics and impact measurement — potentially as coordinator. A pilot/validation partner (e.g. Greece — municipality, cluster or research organisation) to deploy and evaluate the platform in a second European region. We bring: a working product, a live Vienna pilot, direct EU-policy alignment, and a technical founder (senior cloud/DevOps engineer with 8+ years at Siemens and KPMG, published researcher, Columbia University research scholar). Contact: Pouria Bacher · palcito.at

Built the PALcito platform solo — a live digital repair marketplace aligned with EU Directive 2024/1799. Looking for AI/data and pilot partners (FR/GR) for RIVCircular Topic 5.
PALcito (Vienna) offers a built & launching digital repair marketplace as the base for a Topic 5 proposal. Seeking: AI/data partner (analytics, possibly coordinator) + pilot partner in a second region for impact validation. EU 2024/1799 aligned.
