Norwegian Wood Cluster SA consists of leading industrial enterprises and R&D institutions focusing on innovative and sustainable wooden building solutions.
Norwegian Wood Cluster SA was established in 2017 and consists of leading industrial enterprises and R&D institutions within the forest industry and construction value chain. The cluster's 37 members have over 16,000 employees and a turnover of over NOK 27 billion, and the cluster is growing. Through closer cooperation, the cluster participants want to further develop wood-based, industrial and sustainable building solutions. Focus areas for the cluster are sustainability, circularity, innovation, digitalisation, skills development and industrialisation.
I have been the CEO of Norwegian Wood Cluster since 2021. In the past I worked in different positions within the forest owners organisations.
Since the middle of the 90-ties I fore several years managed national and international processes concerning forestry, forest industri and certification.
I have a broad network within the Norwegian forestry and wood industries as well as the relevant universities and reseach institutes.
Norwegian Wood Cluster has members from the wood industri, construction value chain, waste and recyle companies and a bio-energy company.
Among other things I have the responsibility to further develop the network of our cluster.
