Decision Architecture for Complex Energy & Transformation Projects
Decision Architect for Energy Systems and Sustainable Transformation at concept2impact
Wien, Austria
About
Complex energy and sustainability projects rarely fail because the technology does not work. They often struggle because important decisions are made in isolation, too early or without a shared view of the system.
I collaborate with organisations facing complex investment, transformation or energy-system decisions and help structure the decision space before capital is committed.
Typical areas of cooperation include:
-
Energy system architecture — connecting generation, storage, grids, demand and flexibility into a coherent system.
-
Decision architecture — structuring complex decision spaces, dependencies and trade-offs before technology choices are made.
-
Stakeholder alignment — bringing technical, economic and organisational perspectives into a shared decision logic.
-
Techno-economic evaluation — comparing options based on their contribution to the overall system rather than isolated KPIs.
-
Investment sequencing — identifying which decisions should come first and which future options they enable or constrain.
-
Sustainability & transformation — translating strategic sustainability objectives into concrete, economically viable system decisions.
I am particularly interested in project-based collaborations where the challenge is not simply to implement a predefined solution, but to determine what the right solution should be in the first place.
If you are developing a complex energy, infrastructure or transformation project and need to create a robust decision basis before implementation, I am open to exploring a collaboration.
