About

MedINA has solid experience in project management and coordinates the North Aegean Multi-actor Transformative Forum (MTF) for Circular Biobased Economy, supporting innovation, capacity building and dissemination. In this capacity, it can contribute to project coordination, as well as to the design and implementation of actions related to the utilisation of local waste streams, cooperation with stakeholders, participatory processes, and the communication / dissemination of results.

The North Aegean MTF, established in the framework of the RIBES project, comprises 31 members - universities, public authorities, agricultural and social cooperatives, and civil society organisations from the Region of North Aegean. The Forum has held five meetings, during which a series of topics were discussed:

  • The current situation, challenges, and opportunities for the circular bioeconomy in the Region.

  • Specific value chains with development potential.

  • Governance issues related to the circular bioeconomy.

  • The vision, specific objectives, and actions for its development in the Region.
