Waste-to-energy modules
About
Our technology converts plastic waste and waste oil into other energy sources like high quality diesel, marine fuel or heating oil.
The technology is patented, proven, and documented through our demonstration plant in Wegberg, Germany, which is in 24/7 operation and is producing diesel and heating oil to the commercial market.
Our solution is based on a modular concept, where capacity can be scaled by adding additional units. This enables significantly lower initial CAPEX compared to large-scale plants, while also supporting a decentralized approach where production can be located close to feedstock sources or end users.
Each module can process up to 4,000 tonnes of feedstock annually and produce approximately 500 litres per hour.
In addition to its relevance for the recycling industry, the technology also has strong potential in a preparedness context. Decentralized fuel production is critical in crisis scenarios, and Depo modules can function as “micro-refineries.”
Waste oil and plastic will remain available resources even in disrupted situations and can be converted into fuel for defence operations and critical infrastructure.
The modules are largely energy self-sufficient, using a fraction of the output to power the process, enabling off-grid operation.
