Re-Use/Recycling/End-of-life-concept for high power Li-accumulators from drone operation

About

Fighting vegetation fires is a dangerous task for all fire departments. This risk is even higher on former military sites, as ammunition remnants can explode spontaneously in the event of a fire. In many cases, fighting such fires is not feasible or can only be done from the air at great expense. Our approach is to fight them with drones. We have shown that effective deployment is possible, ideally using a large number of drones. The operation of load-carrying drones is an extreme strain on the batteries. The high power requirement during take-off and flight under load, as well as the rapid charging of the batteries, result in severe ageing and early wear of the cells.

We want to develop and build a system for the sustainable use of batteries beyond the use of drones.

To this end, we are looking for partners with their own ideas and technical know-how to find a good way to reuse the batteries.
