Supporting Hydrocarbon-Producing Basins towards Geological Carbon Neutrality

President at EOSYS

Aix-en-Provence, France

About

EOSYS helps hydrocarbon-producing territories and basins design transition pathways towards Geological Carbon Neutrality.

The objective is to support regions historically structured around oil and gas production in repurposing their geological knowledge, wells, reservoirs, infrastructure and industrial capabilities for durable atmospheric decarbonisation.

EOSYS combines subsurface expertise, CO₂ storage screening, biogenic carbon pathway assessment, natural hydrogen and subsurface conversion analysis, and territorial project structuring.

This includes identifying pilot projects, qualifying geological storage opportunities, assessing bio-CO₂ and biochar strategies, and designing concession, partnership and funding models aligned with territorial policies and long-term climate objectives.

The aim is to move from a purely extractive model towards a transition model in which fossil carbon production is progressively matched by durable geological return pathways.
