CetraC has developed a high-speed switching technology (10Gb backbone) 100% hardware (in other words, we work with finite state machines). This technology, which comes from the aircraft manufacturing industry, has three types of properties :

• Safety: Easier certification for airworthiness, up to DO254 DAL A

• Frugality: Saves weight and reduces energy consumption (hardware does what is usually done by computers)

• Cybersecurity “by design” and cyber resilience properties

  • Cyber-security: we natively segregate data

  • Cyber resilience: the behavior of the device cannot be modified from remote

In addition to these main characteristics, the hardware gives us interesting features

• Switching capacity of around 40 Gbps

• Latency as low as 2μs

• Determinism

• Low heat dissipation
