About the Event

Regulation is a powerful catalyst for progress. It builds confidence among innovators, provides clarity for investors and strengthens public trust. But as technologies evolve at pace, regulatory systems must adapt just as quickly. Evidence driven reform is essential to ensure regulation supports, rather than slows, innovation.

The Regulatory Science and Innovation Summit 2026 brings together policymakers, regulators, funders, RSIN and CERSI leaders and strategy specialists from across the regulatory community. The programme will share insights from the first wave of pilot activity, highlight what has been learned and explore how regulatory science can better generate and translate evidence into smarter, more responsive regulation.

This Summit marks an important moment as the UK moves towards the next phase of support for regulatory science. It will also examine current government priorities on pro innovation regulatory reform and how closer collaboration across the system can contribute to an agile, adaptable and trusted regulatory environment.
