Joint Development of Resilient Municipal Energy and Heating Infrastructure
About
VEL – Association for Energy Solutions – brings together companies and institutions with complementary expertise in energy supply, district heating, renewable technologies, infrastructure planning, digitalisation, financing and project implementation.
We are looking for Ukrainian municipalities, utilities and local organisations interested in long-term cooperation on the reconstruction and modernization of resilient energy and heating infrastructure. VEL supports projects from strategic planning and feasibility studies through funding concepts, procurement and technical implementation.
A particular focus is on decentralized, renewable and gas-independent energy systems that improve security of supply and strengthen municipal resilience.
VEL is also involved in German-Ukrainian municipal cooperation. A first project has already been initiated within the SKEW framework between the German City of Lingen and Lanivtsi, Ukraine, focusing on strategic planning and knowledge transfer for gas-independent district heating.
