Floating and submersible In-River Hydroelectric generators
About
The global need to switch from fossil fuel energy to renewable energy is one of the most urgent challenges the world faces today.
Less intrusive and less visible than Wind Turbines, the WESGen®, (an abbreviation of, Water Energy Systems Generator), range offers much greater reliability than Wind, with 24/7 electrical power generation systems in a wide range of sizes and capacities of generators, which, when deployed on a global scale, become a network of micro power stations generating electricity on a macro/global scale, from Earth’s constantly moving waters, without the lulls that occur in wind, solar and tidal power and with minimal environmental impact, as water flow returns to normal immediately after passing a WESGen®.
The WesGen™ system is highly scalable, both in terms of multiple small footprint units linked into 'Hydro-Power Farms' and in terms individual large units, producing GW scale output.
A further use of the WesGen® is in the production of 'Green Hydrogen', by siting production plants next to rivers.
