The Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology (FBBB) at Jagiellonian University in Kraków is an interdisciplinary center for modern molecular life sciences. Its departments study biological processes at molecular, cellular and organismal levels, combining biochemistry, biophysics, molecular and cell biology, microbiology, genetics, immunology, biotechnology, regenerative medicine and bioinformatics.
The Faculty links fundamental research with biomedical, pharmaceutical, environmental and biotechnological applications.
Innovative areas of research includes stem cell biology, extracellular vesicles and development of advanced therapy medicinal products, with potential applications in regenerative medicine.
The FBBB JU is opened for cooperation with other Partners in MSCA actions, including in MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship, MSCA Staff Exchange program and other initiatives.
