About me

Our lab is dedicated to study the molecular interactions between clinically relevant compounds and biological systems, resorting to both cellular and animal models. By understanding the physical principles that drive these interactions, we aim to design new therapeutic strategies or enhance the efficacy of existing ones. Our primary focus is the development of drug therapies and drug delivery systems, with an emphasis on peptides drugs. Our multidisciplinary approach has been applied to pandemic preparedness for infectious diseases, triple-negative breast cancer and its brain metastases, pediatric brain cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and ocular diseases.
