I am Professor of Cardiovascular Science at Imperial College London, working at the interface of RNA and nanovesicles, including surface engineering of exosomes and exogenous nanoparticles, to develop microvascular therapies for ischaemic heart disease. I have over two decades of experience in therapeutic angiogenesis and regenerative medicine, with specialist expertise in microRNAs, including their regulatory interactions and modification.
My research integrates human multi-omics with bioengineering and is supported by advanced human research models. Researchers from my group have successfully moved into roles in industry and academia.
Seeking outstanding MSCA fellow candidates with proven expertise in molecular and cellular biology and targeted delivery systems to co-develop an ambitious translational project focused on cardiac regenerative therapeutics.
