I am a biomedical researcher studying how cells deposit collagen in the extracellular matrix and how this process is altered in fibrosis and cardiovascular diseases.
At the Centro de Biologia Molecular Severo Ochoa-CSIC, we are dedicated to advancing the frontiers of molecular biology through cutting-edge research and collaboration. Our team of scientists works across various disciplines to explore the fundamental processes of life, focusing on areas such as genetic regulation and cellular mechanisms. We foster innovation and knowledge exchange, making our facility a hub for national and international partnerships in biomedicine and related fields. Together, we are driving scientific breakthroughs that have the potential to transform healthcare and biotechnology.
My passion is nature. I enjoy observing birds, mammals, insects, and plants, and understanding how ecosystems function. I bring this passion into the laboratory, where I am driven to discover how cells work, to unravel the less explored aspects of their metabolism, and to understand what goes wrong in certain diseases. Investigating, disseminating, and communicating how the extracellular matrix functions is the driving force of my scientific career.
Within the framework of the MSCA program, we are looking for a highly motivated and qualified postdoctoral researcher to join our team within the Centro de Biologia Molecular Severo Ochoa and develop research in extracellular matrix biology.
