I am an Associate Professor at FIIT STU researching hardware security of neural networks and cryptographic implementations, with expertise in side-channel analysis, fault attacks, countermeasures, and secure AI.
At the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies, we are dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation in the fields of informatics and information technology. We offer a dynamic learning environment where students and faculty collaborate on cutting-edge research and practical applications. Our programs are designed to equip learners with the skills necessary to excel in today's technology-driven landscape. Together, we strive to foster a community that inspires creativity, critical thinking, and professional growth.
I am an Associate Professor at FIIT STU and former Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow working at the intersection of hardware security, applied cryptography, and AI security. My research focuses on side-channel and fault analysis of neural-network and cryptographic implementations, practical countermeasures, and security evaluation methodologies. I teach Cryptography and Embedded Systems Security and work closely with students on secure and trustworthy computing. More about my research and publications can be found on my personal webpage: xiaoluhou.github.io
I am looking for excellent postdoctoral candidates interested in preparing an MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship proposal in hardware security, cryptographic implementations, and AI/LLM security.
