Anne Barron

I am professor of English linguistics at the Leuphana University Lüneburg. My research focuses on language use from a variety of perspectives, with particular focus on speech acts, Irish English, Nigerian English, German, gender, learners, public information communication and stay abroad. Interested in collaborating with partners in the broad areas of public information communication, pragmatics and language learning or the pragmatics of language varieties.
