Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH), established in 2000, employs more than 1600 expert scientists who are committed to research on sustainable processes, energy resources and advanced materials, informatics, sustainable mobility and transport networks, agricultural technology and biosystems engineering.
I'm an experienced senior researcher and team leader at CERTH and an incoming Professor of compressible/supersonic flows at the University of Western Macedonia (Greece). I hold a PhD in plasma engineering and fluid dynamics and a MSc in aerospace mechanics and avionics from ISAE SUPAERO (France) and a MEng in mechanical engineering from AUTH (Greece). I've served as a researcher at the University of Texas at Austin (Dept of aerospace engineering) and ONERA - the French aerospace lab. My current research interests involve atmospheric pressure non equilibrium plasmas and their applications in aerospace, energy and green chemistry. Modeling and physical understanding is my passion towards the development and optimization of processes that can benefit humanity.
