I am a Brazilian architect and researcher currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Urban Development at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). My research focuses on urban heritage, cultural significance and urban morphology, with particular attention to historic city centers in Latin America.
My current research investigates the cultural significance and urban transformations of Rua Duque de Caxias, in João Pessoa, Brazil, examining how historical layers, built form and social practices contribute to the permanence and change of historic urban landscapes.
I am especially interested in interdisciplinary approaches that connect urban morphology, heritage conservation and cultural landscape studies. I seek international collaborations that explore comparative perspectives on historic cities, urban transformation and heritage management.
