I am Dr. Amina Amri Hamad, a Lecturer at Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and environmental sustainability. My research focuses on geospatial modelling, environmental assessment, and hydrological analysis to understand land-use change, water resource systems, and climate-related risks. I apply spatial data and environmental analysis to support evidence-based decision-making for sustainable land and water management. I am also a certified Environmental Impact Assessment expert registered with the National Environmental Management Council (NEMC). I am interested in international collaborations, particularly through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme, to advance research on climate resilience and ecosystem services.
