About me

I am a senior academic at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) with over 20 years of expertise in marketing strategy and consumer behavior. My research is positioned at the intersection of Immersive Technologies (AR/VR/Metaverse) and the Retail sector, focusing on how agentic and immersive interfaces reshape consumer engagement and decision-making. Beyond my scientific research, I bring extensive experience in the European R&I ecosystem, having served as an Expert Evaluator for the European Commission and successfully coordinated multiple EU-funded projects. I specialize in bridging the gap between high-tech development (TRL 3-5) and market-ready consumer applications (TRL 6-8), ensuring that technological innovation is grounded in human-centric design and robust business logic.
