EVROPAIKO ETHELONTIKO KAI EKPAIDEFTIKO KENTRO (EVEC Athens) is a non-profit organisation based in Athens, Greece, active as a non-academic partner within Horizon Europe and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) frameworks. The organisation provides applied research environments, living labs and real-life pilot contexts in the fields of urban sustainability, climate adaptation, circular economy and sustainable food systems, including microgreens and urban farming. EVEC is involved in building local innovation ecosystems, connecting researchers with municipalities, civil society organisations and practice-based settings, and supporting the translation of research into societal, environmental and innovation impact. Within MSCA projects, EVEC can act as a non-academic host or secondment partner, offering intersectoral exposure, applied research settings, stakeholder engagement and support for research impact, dissemination and uptake. The organisation is particularly interested in participating in MSCA Doctoral Networks, Postdoctoral Fellowships and Staff Exchanges, where circular economy, sustainable food systems and mission-oriented research pathways are integral.
I'm Project Coordinator at EVEC Athens, a Greek NGO, and President of EVEC Kočani in North Macedonia — running youth-engagement and educational projects across the Western Balkans and the EU for the past several years.
My background is in turning research into things young people actually use — classroom workshops, hands-on experiments, open-access science-translation content, and ideation programmes for university students and young entrepreneurs (18–30). I've delivered this work with EVEC Athens across 20+ EU-funded projects under Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, and I run microgreens.org.gr, an open-access platform with 100+ articles where research outputs become permanent educational assets.
I'm now bringing this methodology into Horizon Europe. I lead Communication & Dissemination as the Work Package partner in our first Horizon project (Cluster 6, currently under evaluation), and I'm at this brokerage to find the next consortia where this approach can deliver real impact.
What I'm looking for is consortium leaders preparing proposals under HORIZON-CID-2026-01-01, HORIZON-CID-2026-01-02, HORIZON-CL4-2027-01-MAT-PROD-06, HORIZON-CL4-2027-01-MAT-PROD-22, or HORIZON-JU-CBE-2026-CSA-01 who want a differentiated Communication & Dissemination partner — one who goes beyond websites, newsletters, and final conferences, and instead builds durable educational and entrepreneurial outputs that strengthen the Impact section of the proposal directly.
If your consortium needs a partner who can translate research into school workshops across multiple countries, into youth-native digital content, into Open Educational Resources deposited in EU repositories, and into research-to-venture pipelines for next-generation entrepreneurs — let's talk.
I'm based in Athens, available for online meetings throughout the event day, and happy to follow up with a tailored sub-WP description for your specific call.
