I am passionate about studying the associations between early childhood education and care quality and child outcomes, focusing on inclusion and child rights.
Iscte-Knowledge and Innovation is a Center for the Value Creation and Technology Transfer (Iscte-CVTT) that stands out for its pioneering interaction between the technologies and social sciences, while contributing to the production and transmission of knowledge, closely linked to the societal challenges identified by the European Union. Iscte-CVTT brings eight research centres, nine laboratories, eight observatories and other technological resources together under a single roof. Being anchored in the idea of transferring knowledge in social sciences and digital technologies, it offers collaborating opportunities that cut across sectors of research and innovation. The CVTT aims to be an European reference in strategic technological areas, favouring the development of emerging sectors and the incorporation of technologies to improve the competitiveness of the business fabric.
I am very open to new ideas associated with my research interests and to new collaborations. I am interested in both quantitative and qualitative research and in bringing together different types of data to gather an in-depth understanding on research topics. I have had the privilege to work with many colleagues from other countries and find it very rewarding.
