Associate Researcher at the Institute of Chemistry of OrganoMetallic Compounds (ICCOM). My interests include coordination chemistry, catalysis & green chemistry
The Institute of Chemistry of OrganoMetallic Compounds (ICCOM) belongs to the Department of Chemical Sciences and Technologies of Materials (DSCTM) of the National Research Council (CNR) and was established in 2001 following the merging of the Institute for the Study of Stereochemistry and Energetics of Coordination Compounds (ISSECC) of Florence with three other CNR Centers in Florence, Pisa and Bari, with a core interest in synthesis, homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis
Since 2008 I have dedicated my research efforts and career development in the field of molecular inorganic chemistry, characterization of coordination compounds and their application in homogeneous catalysis. I have gained knowledge and expertise during my stays in five different Institutions (USB, ETH, IVIC, UR, ICCOM) across four countries (Venezuela, Switzerland, Germany and Italy). . I am fluent in three languages (Spanish, Italian and English) and proficient in German, which allows me get in contact with different cultures and people in a very efficient way
