About me

I am a passionate and internationally experienced environmental microbiologist dedicated to turning pollution into solutions. With a Ph.D. in Soil and Environmental Microbiology and postdoctoral research across France, China, Oman, and the USA, I specialize in developing sustainable bioremediation technologies. My work focuses on using biosurfactants and innovative processes like electrokinetic remediation to clean up soils and sediments contaminated with heavy metals and organic pollutants, transforming them into valuable resources. I thrive on collaborative, multidisciplinary research and am driven by the goal of creating practical, clean technologies that protect our environment and promote a circular economy. Beyond the lab, I enjoy mentoring the next generation of scientists and connecting fundamental research with real-world industrial applications.
