I am a Senior Principal Research Scientist with over 25 years’ experience in molecular and population genetics and genomics of disease vectors, vector ecology and behaviour, insecticide resistance and emerging infections. My work bridges the gap between field research and molecular science, aiming to understand vector population dynamics and the resilience of the malaria transmission system to inform effective control strategies. I have a proven ability to effectively administer research projects, including managing research staff, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, and overseeing project budgets. I am passionate about mentoring young scientists, building collaborative research networks, and translating scientific insights into real-world impact that improves global health outcomes.
