My organisation

Founded in 1613, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) is a leading public teaching and research university located in Cordoba, one of the most important and fast-growing cities of Argentina. A rich history of events turned it into an important centre of cultural, scientific, political and social influence for the country and the region. In 1918, UNC students were the protagonists of the University Reform Movement; a major turning point in the history of Latin American universities.  UNC has about 170,000 students attend courses in Agricultural Science, Engineering and Technology, Chemistry, Architecture, Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Informatics, Medical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Economics, Social Sciences, Humanities & arts. UNC offers about 93 undergraduate and 234 postgraduate degree programmes. There are 145 research institutes, 3 Hospitals and a United Nation’s awarded Laboratory of Hemoderivatives. Also, UNC is home of a UNESCO World Heritage site. UNC understands Internationalization as one of the main principles for institutional strengthening and a strategy for improving academic and scientific quality. UNC IRO encourages student and staff mobility and international project participation and funding and fosters regional integration and development through promoting academic networks and joint research.  UNC has acquired expertise in the management of international cooperation projects through its active participation in different international project and networks. In the last 10 years, UNC has been partner of 7 Erasmus+ CBHE (PROFIC, LISTO, CityLabs, ACAI-LA, NEON, EDUDAR and BRAVIOO), 5 MSCA-RISE (CRIC, MIREL, INCASI, EOXPOSURE, MISSION), 4 MSCA Staff Exchanges (ENRICH, EinsteinWaves, INCASi2 and OCEANS) and a EMJM (TPTI).
