About me

Jude Robinson is a social anthropologist and Deputy Head and Research & Knowledge Exchange Director for the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Glasgow. She also co-leads the interdisciplinary Global Sustainable Development Network at UoG. She leads collaborative, interdisciplinary research in critical public health in the UK and countries in Africa. Her research focuses on the health of women with young children living in low-income settings with an interest in research design, (feminist) research methodologies, visual methods and material culture, gendered health inequalities, and One / Planetary Health approaches. Her current projects include research on respiratory health (smoking, TB, RVF and AMR); identity and stigma; water insecurity and water hygiene; and the use of plastics and the circular economy. She is committed to models of equitable partnerships, career development of colleagues, and innovative and ethical research methods and practices.
