At GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, we are dedicated to advancing our understanding of the oceans and their role in global climate systems. Our multidisciplinary team conducts cutting-edge research, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and extensive fieldwork, to explore marine ecosystems and their interactions with the atmosphere. We collaborate with partners worldwide, contributing valuable insights that drive sustainable ocean management and inform public policy. Together, we aim to address the pressing challenges facing our oceans and ensure their health for future generations.
