About
The University of Almeria offers a well-established research environment in health sciences, with access to simulation laboratories and interdisciplinary collaboration across Nursing, Computer Science, and Engineering departments.
The CARE360 research group focuses on innovation in healthcare education and practice, with active lines in artificial intelligence, clinical simulation, and patient safety. Current projects include AI-driven decision-making tools and wearable-based monitoring systems.
Candidates interested in developing projects at the intersection of AI and healthcare education are particularly welcome, including topics such as computer vision for clinical skills assessment, automated feedback systems, and wearable technology for learner monitoring.
Co-supervision with the Department of Informatics is available for technically oriented proposals requiring expertise in machine learning or computer vision.
