About
We invite expressions of interest for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026, to be carried out at University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia.
Research topics:
• Machine learning for drug discovery and repurposing
• Predictive modeling of anticancer drug activity using multi-omics data
• Ensemble learning and advanced classification in biomedical applications
• Statistical and biostatistical methods for high-dimensional biological data
Eligibility criteria
Candidates must be eligible according to the criteria established by the 2026 MSCA Postdoctoral fellowship call:
• To have a PhD by the call deadline (September 9, 2026)
• To have up to 8 years of research experience after PhD
• To be citizens of an EU State or of an Associated Country
• Not to have resided or carried out their main activity in Italy for more than 12 months in the 36 months before the call deadline (September 10, 2025)

The Expression of Interest should include the following documents:
• A full CV
• A short summary of the prospected project (1 page + References)
• A cover letter, specifying:
- Name, Family Name, contact email and Nationality
- Current affiliation (if any)
- Type of grant for application (European Fellowship / Global
Fellowship)
- Date of PhD Award and Career breaks since then (if any)
- Country/ies of residence in the past 3 years
- Country/ies of main activity (work/studies) in the past 3years
- Duration of the project in months (European Fellowship: between 12 and 24 months; Global Fellowship: between 24 and 36 months).
If your application is selected, then the next step would be to apply jointly for the MSCA PF call 2025, with the deadline on 9 September 2026 17:00 CEST.
