Polymeric materials: processing and characterisation
About
Research on advanced polymeric nanofibres that are produced by the electrospinning technique. The nanofibres made of biopolymers for the controlled release of bioactive compounds, such as plant extracts, antibacterial and antioxidant nanomaterials.
Research on porous polymeric membranes produced by phase separation methods for the controlled release of bioactive molecules.
Research on a wide range of characterisation techniques for polymeric materials: morphological analysis, thermal properties, mechanical properties.
