Explainable AI to identify relevant & interpretable biomarkers for clinical decisions from multimodal data
About
Prof Dr Domenec Puig, established at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona, Spain), is interested in receiving Expressions of Interest of potential candidates for this Postdoctoral Fellowship call:
The overarching goal of the research project developed by the group is to investigate robust and explainable AI models for Medical Imaging and aid Medical Diagnosis, Digital Health and Well-Being with AI.
Introducing virtual twin-driven AI models for medical diagnosis of a variety of diseases and its complications. Novel personalised virtual twins and decision-support tools to help prevent a disease, while optimising acute management and rehabilitation. Ultimately, the goal is to provide a better quality of life for patients and caregivers, and lower healthcare costs.
The target is to define new intelligent computational models by reshaping risk prediction, diagnosis, and management of a variety of diseases, and accelerating the translation of research into practical applications.
