AI-Driven High-Throughput Molecular Discovery for Sustainable Metal Separation
About
REEactor is a European deep-tech startup developing an automated, AI-driven molecular discovery platform for sustainable metal separation and critical raw material recovery.
Our technology integrates multicomponent reaction (MCR) chemistry, acoustic droplet ejection (ADE), miniaturized high-throughput synthesis, analytical screening, and machine learning to accelerate the discovery and optimization of selective metal-binding ligands.
We are interested in joining MSCA Doctoral Networks and other European collaborative research initiatives as an industrial partner.
Expertise and potential contributions:
-
Automated synthesis and screening of diverse molecular libraries.
-
AI-guided ligand discovery and active-learning optimization.
-
Coordination chemistry and selective metal binding.
-
Sustainable separation of rare earth elements, battery metals, and precious metals.
-
Industrial secondments, interdisciplinary doctoral training, and entrepreneurship.
Partners sought:
We welcome collaboration with universities, research institutes, and industrial organizations specializing in artificial intelligence, computational chemistry, coordination chemistry, hydrometallurgy, analytical technologies, and critical raw material recycling.
Our objective is to connect fundamental molecular discovery with industrially relevant challenges while training the next generation of researchers in automated, data-driven chemistry.
