One Health, Proteomics & Biomarker Discovery – Open for MSCA Collaborations

I am a veterinarian and Associate Professor at the Department of Public and One Health, University of Thessaly, Greece, with expertise in proteomics, biomarker discovery and One Health research. My work integrates animal, human and environmental health through interdisciplinary and omics-based approaches.

My research expertise includes:

• Proteomics and mass spectrometry-based approaches

• Biomarker discovery and validation

• Veterinary and milk proteomics

• Infectious and zoonotic diseases and host–pathogen interactions

• Food safety and food quality

• Environmental health and pollution

• One Health surveillance

• Bioinformatics and multi-omics data integration

• AI and machine-learning applications in biological and One Health research

I am interested in joining or co-developing MSCA Doctoral Networks, Staff Exchanges and Postdoctoral Fellowship collaborations, as well as establishing long-term partnerships with universities, research institutes, hospitals, veterinary and public health organisations, industry and other non-academic partners.

The Department of Public and One Health at the University of Thessaly can contribute to interdisciplinary research, doctoral training, staff exchanges, secondments and joint research activities, particularly at the interface of One Health, omics technologies, public health, veterinary medicine, food systems and environmental health.

I am open to discussing both existing consortia seeking complementary expertise and new project ideas to be developed jointly.
