About

We are looking for a person interested in applying for a Marie-Curie post-doctoral project

https://marie-sklodowska-curie-actions.ec.europa.eu/whats-new/news/msca-opens-eu399-million-call-for-postdoctoral-fellowships

in the area of material-microbe interactions. Our research group is composed of biologists, material scientists and chemists: https://tymri.ut.ee/en/content/microbe-material-interactions-research-group

and our main study areas are:

  • development of antimicrobial materials and surfaces

  • the mode of antimicrobial action of materials

  • microbial responses to antimicrobial materials

  • microbial community changes due to antimicrobial exposure

We offer help with MC proposal preparation (deadline 9th of September 2026). Proposals that have obtained sufficiently high marks from MC post-doctoral application round but were not funded, are eligible for Estonian Research Council post-doctoral applications in early 2027.

If you are interested in the topic, please contact: angela.ivask@ut.ee

We are very much looking forward to hear from you!
