Development of advanced materials for catalytic/photocatalytic water and air cleaning, energy generation and natural resource utilization

We are looking for proposals aiming to develop novel materials (intercalated layered compounds, atypical insulating materials for photocatalytic applications, well defined metal nanoparticles) for water and air cleaning (removal of organic contaminants, nitrate, NOx), efficient production of carbon free energy carriers (H2 and NH3), utilization of natural resources (selective transformation of methane to high value chemicals: methanol, ethane, ethylene).
