MSCA-PF postdoctoral candidate on Neuroplasticity in health and disease
About
Eligibility – Who You Are
You are a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher who:
-
Holds a PhD in Neuroscience or a closely related field.
-
Is eligible for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships.
-
Is fluent in English (CEFR B2-C1 or higher; certifications are a plus).
-
Has experience in scientific writing, such as publications or fellowship applications.
-
Possesses a strong research track record, relative to your career stage.
-
Demonstrates technical expertise in at least one of the following:
-
Patch-clamp electrophysiology (in slices or cells)
-
In vivo brain stereotaxic microinjections
-
Lentiviral/AAV vector production
-
In vivo chemogenetics or optogenetics
-
Mouse behavior (e.g., eye-blink conditioning, vestibulo-ocular reflex)
-
-
Is self-driven, curious, collaborative, and capable of working independently.
-
Is interested in applying for MSCA PF with 2–3 months of preparation alongside experienced mentors.

Led by Assoc. Prof. Giorgio Grasselli, MSCA alumnus and reviewer.

Based at the Dept. of Pharmacy, University of Genoa.

Research topics include: cerebellum, Purkinje cells, synaptic/intrinsic/structural plasticity, motor learning, multiple sclerosis, ataxia, ASD.
