UHasselt Research hosting MSCA-PF

Hasselt University gathers 7 faculties, 3 schools, 4 research institutes, 3 research centers, 7.065 students, 855 PhD students, and 1.700 researchers and employees. It accommodates 3 doctoral schools (Behavioral Sciences & Humanities, Health & Life Sciences, and Sciences & Technology). As a civic university, UHasselt wants to deploy people and knowledge to tackle society’s major challenges, in full collaboration with regional, national, and international partners. UHasselt has 16 business developers, who maintain a regional and European network with stakeholder groups within all research domains. Through its gender policy plan, UHasselt pays attention to the creation of equal opportunities for women and men in research. UHasselt was the first Flemish university to obtain the ‘HR Excellence in Research’ label of the European Commission (2011). In 2021, UHasselt joined the European University Alliance ‘EURECA-PRO’. This network enables students and staff to study, teach, and research in the field of responsible consumption and production.
