Radboudumc Investment Day 2025
8 October 2025
Targeted matchmaking & inspiring sessions for investors, startups/spin-offs and researchers
Jointly organized by Radboudumc, Radboud University, Briskr and Oost NL, the Investment Day is the leading matchmaking event for investors, promising startups/spin-offs and top researchers in the life sciences & health domain. We focus on exchanging knowledge, networking and meeting each other about (future) cooperation early on in the process. Our aim is to improve impact on healthcare.
Join us for the 5th edition of our event as we explore the potential societal value of research with industry experts, discover promising new innovations, connect with like-minded individuals & gain new business contacts.
Invite-only
This event is invite-only. Do you belong to one of the target groups and are you interested in participating? Let us know why you want to participate, and we'll let you know soon if you are selected! Please contact Marion at marion.schouten@briskr.nl
Targeted matchmaking
For investors, entrepreneurs & entrepreneurial researchers who seek new investment partnerships.
The main objective of Raboudumc Investment Day is to establish new contacts. That is why we use a matchmaking platform to set up 1-on-1 meetings.
Inspiring talks
We kick-off the program with an inspiring key-note speaker. Followed by a balanced selection of scientists, investors and entrepreneurs who share their stories during the break-out sessions.
Networking
The event provides a great opportunity to meet and connect with like-minded individuals, as well as experts in your field.
There is ample opportunity for networking during lunch, breaks, networking drinks, and dinner.
Product demonstrations
Get inspired by the new inventions / innovations that will be demonstrated during the breaks.
Are you innovatively driven and do you have an inspiring demo, which you want to showcase? Please get in touch with Marion at marion.schouten@briskr.nl
We inivite you to offer the visitor an inspiring activity or challenge at your spot (so no sales stand).
Scientific poster competition
PdD students from Radboud University & Radboudumc can showcase their promising research and early-stage development in LS&H to the investors & entrepreneurs.
The goal is to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical applications. Entries in the poster competition are not only judged on their scientific merits, but also on their potential to eventually grow into a successful product. The students compete to win the "Martijn Kriens poster competition award" (€2,500 for further research).
In 2024 Nienke Timmermans won with her idea for an algorithm that monitors tremors in patients with Parkinson's disease.
