Valtes is a Dutch care-innovation company that supports informal caregivers with smart, human-centred technology. Our platform brings together AI, local information and practical tools that help families organise care, share responsibilities and access the right support at the right moment.

We work closely with municipalities, welfare organisations and regional partnerships to strengthen community-based care. Valtes helps local governments reach and support caregivers more effectively, provides real-time insights into what people need, and offers scalable digital innovation in a domain where resources are often limited. Together with partners, we make it easier for residents to navigate care, discover local activities, and stay connected to their support network.

Our collaborations extend to employers, healthcare providers and community initiatives, creating a unified ecosystem around the caregiver — from early signals to personalised guidance.

Why we belong in an international subsidy ecosystem

The challenge of informal caregiving is not limited to the Netherlands. Across Europe, health systems face increasing pressure from ageing populations, staff shortages, and growing complexity in home-based care. At the same time, informal caregivers – especially those between 30 and 65 – often remain invisible, unsupported, and at risk of burnout.

Valtes offers a concrete, digital-first solution. Our AI-powered app functions as a personal assistant for caregivers, adapting to their situation and delivering tailored information, practical support and local connections – at the right moment, in the right context. The technology is scalable, GDPR-compliant, and built with inclusivity in mind.

Through ongoing partnerships, we empower municipalities with anonymised insights into caregiver needs, behaviours and unmet demands – enabling smarter, more responsive social policy.

Valtes is ready to expand. We are actively looking for European partners – from care organisations to regional governments – to pilot and scale our technology. Our ambition is to support at least 10 regions across Europe by 2028 and contribute to a more resilient, data-driven and citizen-centred care ecosystem.
